Orlando has always been a writer...
His love for words originally manifested itself as poetry. As he got older, he found a space for music within his writing. As a rap lyricist, Orlando's talent received attention from a record label. He was afforded the opportunity to perform under 50 Kalibur with NoCoast Records.
Although he enjoyed performing, Orlando was still searching for his place in the music industry. He learned to produce and engineer his own music. Although originally only rap music, he began expanding his scope of writing, quickly realizing that songwriting was not only his niche in the industry but more importantly, his passion.
He has spent the last several years, continuing to hone his craft, creating a variety of songs within many different genres.
Michael Jackson was the artist who made Ashley aware of the impact of music. She, like so many, was mesmerized by him and knew instantly that this was the industry she wanted to give her all to.
Ashley wrote her first song at the age of eight. It was the tragedy of losing her close childhood friend in a fire that inspired her to write. She recognized early on the healing power that this form of expression could provide.
Her first recording experience took place at the age of 12 in the world famous Willie "Pops" Mitchell's, Royal Studios, located in the heart of South Memphis. It was here that she was able to bare witness to the aura of the place where Al Green and so many other of her influences made magic, while contributing to a rich history.
This experience led to the beginning of her chasing her dream through a number of other forms of music...and she hasn't stopped writing since.
